Jason Pendergist, Chairman
Mr. Pendergist is a seasoned C-suite leader and proven strategic thinker. He is a skilled leader capable of driving continuous process improvement and improved client experience with a proven ability to successfully transform corporate cultures by balancing aggressive growth with credit, and operational and regulatory discipline.
Mr. Pendergist brings a wealth of expertise in corporate governance, finance, sales, operations and business expansion. Most recently, he served as President and COO of Sabal Capital and Executive Vice President and Head of Real Estate and Commercial Banking with Banc of California, leading six of the bank’s business units. He also served at JP Morgan Chase as Senior Vice President, and later as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Term Lending.
Mr. Pendergist obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his MBA in Finance from the Leeds School of Business (also at University of Colorado).
Joseph L Baggio, Chief Technology Officer / Founder and Director
Mr. Baggio ensures that the company delivers the product, management, solutions, and support that brings value to its customer base. As a leader, Mr. Baggio has achieved superior results driving rapid sales growth during both boom and recession times through management, sales and implementation of marketing strategies. He started his career in the computer industry over thirty five years ago at Applied Systems Intelligence, Inc. From Customer Services Assistant to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Baggio proved himself through performance, adaptation and perseverance.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Baggio has built and managed highly effective sales and marketing organizations, created strategic alliances, launched new products, services, and marketing campaigns in the United States, Asia Pacific, Europe, Canada and Latin America. As an innovator, Baggio developed “Direct Authenticator” Secured Remote Access SSL/VPN, “Direct Document Management System”, one of the Cloud Computing leaders in Electronic Document Management, “Direct Customer Relationship Management” that competes directly against Salesforce.com, along with “Direct Asset Risk Management” Banking Application helping Banks Manage and Create NPN Toxic Asset Portfolios.
Mr. Baggio has designed numerous secure networks in the internal corporate world and in e-commerce environments. He has also developed over 2,800 scripts for known Vulnerabilities and Secure One Results Methodology for complete Security Information Assurance Assessment, as well as created and implemented the education syllabus and training program for Assurance Assessment. Mr. Baggio is also a Key Note Speaker of ISSA Los Angeles Chapter.
On May 12, 2006, Mr. Baggio was appointed the Honorary Chairman of the NRCC’s Business Advisory Council to the President of the United States. In addition to his appointment, Mr. Baggio Also is an advisor for the Homeland Security Council and National Security Council in Washington DC.
Mr. Baggio has a BA from Boston University; he is one of only three certified Computer Forensics Professionals in California and has studied Criminal Law at Harvard School of Law. Mr. Baggio also holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Southern California.
Kevin Welsh, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Welsh is an entrepreneurial leader with 20+ year successful track record in building strong operational teams and consistent achievements in strategic positioning, business development, marketing, product management, and partnerships in emerging technologies.
Mr. Welsh’s experience spans growing new revenue streams in disruptive technology areas including IoT, SaaS, 4G LTE/5G, mobile technologies, cyber security, and telecommunications. Mr. Welsh started his technology career at Accenture where he led the securing of data connections, with Fortune 100 clients, and rolled out the company’s first IPSec VPN service.
While at Fifth Third Bank, Mr. Welsh was the lead network architect in the redesign of the bank’s DMZ internet network architecture which provided and installed the first asymmetrical load balancer on the bank’s firewalls. Most recently, Mr. Welsh held leadership positions at Verizon where he led a technology enablement practice building out and delivering SaaS solutions for IoT and Smart Cities. Mr. Welsh was instrumental in developing Public Private Partnerships to facilitate the roll out of Verizon’s 5G network.
Mr. Welsh earned an MBA, with a concentration in Marketing, from the Florida Institute of Technology graduating Summa Cum Laude and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati
